"Wild California Mustangs"  Join me on Tuesday the 22nd of January for an inspiring talk and slide show about photographing one of the last herds of wild mustangs in California, the mustangs of Montgomery Pass. For many of us, the wild mustangs represent freedom and the Old West. Imagine seeing them run like the wind in the open range. Imagine watching the newborn foals stand for the first time and following their mothers as the herd roams. Imagine witnessing the stallions defending their herds. Imagine being able to capture all of this in your own images.
This will be a rare opportunity to learn how to photograph wild prey animals in their natural environment. You will learn some of my techniques for finding these animals, approaching them, setting up your image and creating it. We will also discuss lighting, weather and working on both private and public property. The talk will be at 6:45 PM at the Sports Basement - Bryant Street Store, 1590 Bryant St., San Francisco 94103.   Click HERE for more information.
